Senior Electrical Project Manager
Up to £95,000 + Package
Fawkes & Reece are working exclusively with a major Tier 1 building services contractor to recruit a Senior Electrical Project Manager for their specialist London Bid & Pre-Construction Team. This is a standout opportunity to join a respected, people-first organisation delivering some of the most high-profile commercial projects in the capital.
The Role
This position sits at the intersection of tendering, bidding, pre-construction and project delivery. You will take a leading role during the bid phase, shaping technical solutions and delivery strategies, before supporting the full lifecycle of major MEP schemes typically ranging from £50m-£100m in value.
It is ideal for a Senior Electrical PM who enjoys early project involvement and influencing how schemes are won, set up and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical discipline through tenders, bids and pre-construction activities.
- Develop methodologies, technical proposals and programme strategies for major commercial projects.
- Support smooth transitions from bid stage into delivery.
- Work collaboratively with mechanical, commercial, planning and operational teams.
- Maintain the highest safety, quality and technical standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients and JV/partner organisations.
- Promote a modern, collaborative delivery culture.
Candidate Profile
- Strong commercial-sector background as a Senior Electrical Project Manager.
- Proven experience in tendering/bidding as well as project delivery.
- Confident working across multi-discipline or integrated project teams.
- A collaborative, non-adversarial mindset - someone who works with partners, not against them.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder and team leadership skills.
- A stable career history and the desire for long-term career progression.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Our client is known for:
- A genuinely inclusive, supportive, and development-led culture.
- Clear succession planning - they prioritise long-term investment in their people.
- Regular career reviews, mentoring and structured development programmes.
- A strong reputation for selecting the right work, not just more work, focusing on quality and ethical delivery.
- A collaborative "one team" approach instead of the traditional confrontational subcontractor mindset.
Package & Working Approach
- Salary up to £95,000
- Competitive Tier 1 package (details shared upon shortlist)
- Flexible working arrangements during pre-construction phases, with site-first focus during delivery
