An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our excellent early years team at Ely and Caerau Children’s Centre within our Meithrin and Wrap Around Provision.

We are looking to appoint an early years practitioner who is well versed in child development and who is committed to the principles of play based practice. We would love hear from you, if you are able to:
● Nurture and support children in all areas of development
● Support children and families in a holistic approach
● Apply a secure understanding of child observation and child centred practice
● Work well as part of an established team within a busy nursery environment
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
Internal candidates who wish to apply for this position on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081). Requests may only be approved by the relevant Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.
This vacancy is suitable for post share.
This post is temporary until 31st August in the first instance. The role is to support Nursery Education through the medium of Welsh in the morning and bilingual childcare in the afternoon, term time only.
