Neway International are seeking a Neighbourhood Housing Officer (L3Z2) to join our client based with Camden Council.
Location: Crowndale Centre
Hours: 36 per week (Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:30)
Start Date: asap in an ongoing contract
Pay Rates: £20.96 PAYE / £27.33 Umbrella/Ltd

The Role
This is a maternity/paternity cover position within the Supporting Communities team. As a Neighbourhood Housing Officer, you will provide frontline housing services, working closely with residents to resolve issues, ensure compliance, and support community wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver housing services to residents, including vulnerable people and minority groups.
Use housing management IT systems to record, monitor, and resolve cases effectively.
Provide empathetic, confident communication in a range of settings.
Support compliance with housing policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to maintain safe, supportive neighbourhoods.
Candidate Requirements
Essential: Experience of using housing management IT systems.
Essential: Strong understanding of housing management practices.
Essential: Proven ability to deliver housing services to vulnerable people and minority groups.
Essential: Ability to communicate with warmth, empathy, and confidence.
Beginner-level experience in housing management, empathy, patience, and listening skills will be considered.
