Company Overview:
A well-known food manufacturer in the Coventry area is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with experience in welding techniques to maintain their automated production lines.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance as per the scheduled program.
  • Responding promptly to equipment failures to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Servicing and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and process machinery.
  • Supporting production staff with basic machine upkeep and troubleshooting.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Mechanical maintenance experience in automated environments
  • Welding and fabrication skills
  • Fast-paced production experience
  • PLC troubleshooting expertise
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • NVQ/apprenticeship desirable
