Horizon Teachers are seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in a welcoming and inclusive Primary School starting this January.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone committed to improving the learning, development, and wellbeing of children with a wide range of additional needs.
The Role
- Supporting learners with complex needs, including Autism, SLCN, PMLD, SLD, medical needs, and behavioural needs
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
- Assisting with sensory-based learning, communication strategies, and personalised interventions
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and communication development through nurturing and consistent practice
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning or SEND
- Experience supporting pupils with complex learning needs within a Primary setting
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies, communication systems, and sensory approaches
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
