Grade: GRADE D (POINT 6-11) £25,989- £28,142 per annum, pro rata, plus SNA allowance
Actual Salary: £19,547 to £21,167, plus SNA allowance
Contract Type: Fixed Term, Twelve months from start date
Start Date: As soon as possible

The Role:
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable teaching assistant to join our dedicated team, to work in partnership with our experienced and dedicated staff, to build on our successes and drive the school forward in future development and growth. This position is a great opportunity for a teaching assistant who wants to further their career within a good school with a strong and innovative Senior Leadership Team.

The job will include:
Working alongside pupils, helping to identify and meet individual learning needs, whilst maintaining good order and discipline in line with the School’s Behaviour Policy.
Supporting pupils in Numeracy and Literacy both within whole class activities and small group work.
A contribution to the delivery of differentiated curricula.
Enabling meaningful inclusion and access to learning for our children;
Support for class teachers in the development of our innovative, exciting teaching and learning experiences within the curriculum.

About You:
The children, staff and Governors are looking for someone who:
Is an experienced and outstanding Level 2 teaching assistant;
Is able to provide help and support for pupils, and have a positive impact on classroom practice;
Has high expectations of themselves, pupils and staff and has a passion for enabling all children and staff to reach their potential;
Is a team player with the ability to motivate, lead and support colleagues;
Is extremely driven and committed to working with the Brownlow Fold team to secure our long-term goals.

The successful applicant:
MUST have at least 2 years of recent experience working within a school setting;
MUST have experience working with children with SEND needs, ASD;
Model excellent practice which impacts on results and outcomes;
Demonstrate outstanding and innovative practice;
Have excellent IT skills using a range of software programs;
Engage and inspire pupils and secure the characteristics of effective learning;
Be able to work as part of a team, but also show initiative to work independently;
Demonstrate a flexible approach to respond to the changing needs of the school;
Have excellent numeracy and literacy skills;
Be committed to high standards of presentation, with attention to detail;
Convey a ‘can do’ attitude and present as an effective team player to secure successful outcomes for school;
Be able to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality;
Have the ability to plan and prioritise own workload and meet deadlines;
Awareness and adherence to General Data Protection Regulations
