Salary: Grade D (SCP 6 11) £25,183 to £27,269 per annum (pro rata for term time contract) plus pro rata SNA allowance
Actual Salary: £19,088 to £20,669 plus pro rata SNA Allowance

The Governing Body of Horwich Parish C.E Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 2) with Year 6 experience to join our team to provide support on a one-to-one basis.
You will:
- Provide one to one support and have experience working with ASD and ADHD pupils, providing academic, behavioural and emotional development.
- Have experience of working on a one-to one basis with children with additional needs.
- Have experience of working in year 6 Join a committed team of professionals who want the best for all our pupils
- Have had recent experience of working within a primary setting within the last two years
- Be skilled and experienced in supporting children with complex social, emotional and special educational needs
- Be able to form strong and professional working relationships with parents and carers, colleagues and other professionals Be patient, nurturing, calm and positive
- Have high expectations of yourself and the children you work with
- Be able to identify barriers to learning and know how to provide a range of strategies for overcoming those barriers
- Be able to exhibit a mix of hard work and initiative with a willingness and ability to follow school policies and procedures.

This post is temporary until August 2026 and the successful candidate will be employed by the school governors on behalf of the local authority. This post is subject to a six months probationary period in line with Local Authority Guidelines
