Hays are seeking a professional and organised Temporary Receptionist to support our front-of-house operations within a busy environment. This role is key to ensuring smooth communication and providing a welcoming experience for visitors, contractors, and staff. This role is based in Salford Quays and ad hoc cover, hours are 8am - 4.30pm.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Duties: Greet visitors, contractors, and clients professionally and direct them to the appropriate contact or area.
- Call Management: Answer and route incoming calls promptly and accurately.
- Visitor & Contractor Logging: Maintain sign-in/out records and ensure compliance with site safety protocols.
- Administrative Support: Assist with filing, document preparation, and data entry as required.
- Mail & Deliveries: Handle incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate courier services.
- Meeting Coordination: Book meeting rooms and ensure they are prepared for use.
- Compliance Awareness: Ensure visitors are aware of health and safety requirements upon arrival

- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic admin systems.
