Your new company
Hays are recruiting for a reliable and professional Night Time Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis, specifically to cover bank holidays. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has excellent customer service skills, and is comfortable working overnight shifts. Temporary work, based in Salford Quays, Manchester. Hours of work are 8pm-8am, bank holidays, including Christmas.
Your new role
- Welcoming and assisting visitors and guests during night hours
- Monitoring security systems and reporting any unusual activity
- Handling phone calls and emails professionally
- Managing check-ins/check-outs if applicable
- Ensuring the reception area remains tidy and presentable
- Responding to emergencies and liaising with relevant personnel
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Basic IT skills (email, booking systems, etc.)
- Flexibility to work bank holidays including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and overnight shifts
