What You'll Be Doing
As a Housing Management Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting Housing Officers and ensuring our customers receive a high-quality service. Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing calls whilst delivering friendly, helpful customer service and resolving basic queries.
- Entering housing applications into the system, producing tenancy agreements and other relevant sign-up documentation.
- Supporting Housing Officers in the maximisation of rental income, including monitoring housing benefit entitlements and generating legal documentation in relation to possession.
- Any other ad-hoc administrative duties and specific project work as required, such as completing tenancy changes on the system.
- Promoting equality, inclusion, and safeguarding across all interactions.
- Collaborating with colleagues to improve services and share best practice.
This is a role where no two days are the same - you'll be problem-solving, supporting customers, and contributing to the smooth running of our housing services.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is:
- Experienced in administration and customer service (minimum 6 months).
- Confident with IT systems, especially Microsoft Office.
- Skilled at multitasking, prioritising, and working independently.
- A clear communicator with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about housing legislation, welfare benefits, and GDPR.
- Passionate about inclusion, fairness, and delivering excellent customer service.
- Qualifications such as GCSEs in English and Maths (A-C) and/or QCF Level 2 in Business Administration are required, with a willingness to continue learning and developing.
