Farmhouse Bakery are family bakers in Halesworth, established in 1998. We provide traditionally made bread, rolls and morning goods to retail and wholesale customers in Halesworth, Bungay, Southwold and surrounding areas.
Main description
Farmhouse Bakeries is looking to recruit 2 new apprentices, one vacancy specialising in cake production (and hospitality) and one position in breads and savouries.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and qualifications within a well established business.
Your main responsibilites will be:
Preparing food products
Ordering
Assisting in café
Assisting customers
Cleaning
Preparing customer orders
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (30 hours), working either 9am to 3pm or 8am to 2pm.
Entry requirements
You must have/be:
Good team worker
Can do attitude
Customer focussed
Interest in food production and hospitality
Experience with customer facing role
Skills required
Communication skills
Attention to detail
Customer care skills
Team working
Physical fitness
Training to be provided
F&B Team Member/Hospitality Team Member Level 2
Functional Skills in Maths and English if required.

This is an active job so you will need to be in good physical health.
Future prospects
Upon successful completion of your level 2, there will be the opportunity to progress to level 3, specialising in the production of both cakes and/or savouries.
