Full Time Fixed Term (6 years)

This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

The opportunity is nested within a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Programme Grant for Applied Research. The PROTECTs (PRevention of Osteoporotic fractures Through Equitable Case finding and Treatment Support, CI Professor Zoe Paskins) programme aims to reduce osteoporotic fractures by developing and testing a new, equitable approach for UK general practices to identify at-risk individuals using automated searches in medical records and offer tailored bone health assessments and treatments.

The post holder will work within qualitative workstreams in years 1-3 of the programme, which are underpinned by implementation science theory and a framework for research equity, the feasibility study (years 1-3) and the main trial process evaluation (years 4-6).

You will have a PhD (or recently submitted) in a related subject and experience of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
