Job Title: Care Assistant
Location: Derby
Salary: £12.21 - £14.29 per hour (Depending on days, nights, weekdays, weekends)

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in DE23. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with all aspects of daily living, while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling career.
Job Description:
DE23 - Supporting a 11 year old male who lives at home with his family, who has Cerebral Palsy and Dystonia. He also has a visual impairment. He requires support with all aspects of daily living, Peg medication, Suctioning, personal care and Manual Handling.
Hours: 12 hour night shifts, Monday – Sunday (1/2 night per week is required – must be flexible)

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.

Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.
Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.
What We're Looking For:
A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential. (Previous knowledge/experience with children/ End of life/ PEG is preferred but not essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
