A supportive and forward-thinking school in Swinton is seeking a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their on-site SEN provision from January. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small group of children with a range of additional needs, supporting their development through structured routines, sensory activities and personalised plans.

The Role:

Working within the school's SEN provision with a small group of pupils

Supporting children with a variety of needs including Autism, communication difficulties, sensory needs and learning delays

Using sensory rooms and specialist resources to promote engagement and regulation

Following each child's EHCP to ensure tailored, effective support

Assisting the SENCo and provision lead in delivering high-quality interventions

Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Experience working with SEN pupils, ideally in a provision or specialist setting

Strong understanding of sensory needs and Autism
