Post: Teaching Assistant Level 3

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Range: Grade 4, SCP 10-12, FTE salary £27,694.00 - £28,598.00, pro rata salary £21,492.00 - £22,193.00)

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Working Type: Part Time [32.5 hours/39 weeks]

Base: The Ferns Primary Academy, Plodder Lane, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 0DA

Please note: The post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Due to the internal promotion of a teaching assistant, The Ferns Primary Academy are seeking a passionate and confident Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our dedicated team. As part of the role, you will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for the delivering of learning opportunities across a wide range of subjects and year groups. You will support teaching and learning across the academy and contribute to assessments and supporting children with identified needs.
