Whether you're exploring teaching, coaching, youth development or pathways into PE, this role gives you real hands-on experience that actually counts.
And here's the key thing:
You do NOT need school experience.
If you've captained a sports team, run a warm-up drill, coached a group, or supported younger players, you already have exactly the kind of skills we can help you build on.
Perfect for active, energetic grads who love being on the move.
You'll:
• Lead warm-ups, drills, and practical PE activities
• Support the PE department with lessons, equipment setup, and team events
• Keep sessions fun, structured, and engaging
• Motivate students who love sport - and the ones who don't (yet!)
If you enjoy inspiring young people through sport, this is a brilliant fit.
When you're not in the sports hall or on the field, you'll step into classroom-based cover.
You'll:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Use your coaching style to keep students focused
• Show calm leadership and strong communication
• Build confidence in behaviour management - a key skill for any future PE teacher
No teaching or planning required. Just your energy, presence and ability to lead a group.
You'll build:
• Real classroom management experience
• Leadership skills that transfer into ANY sports career
• Confidence working with young people
• A proper understanding of school life
• A springboard into PE teacher training
Lots of sports graduates start here and go on to train as PE teachers, sports coaches, or youth mentors - and many decide to stay in education long-term because they love the impact they're making.
