You’llbe workingas part of a team that covers the hospital electrical systems 7 days per week(shiftworking)andberesponsible forthe day-to-day repairs, operation and first line response of the Trust electrical equipment and systems.
You’lloperateand maintain the Trust’s electrical equipmentandsystems,including(but not limited to):lighting and emergency light systems, fire alarms, nurse call and other electrical systems and equipment found in the healthcare environment.Ensuring aneconomic,efficientand safe manner,in accordance withlegislation and agreed standards.
We’reseeking someone whodemonstratesa keen understanding of all modern general electrical maintenance activities, both reactive and planned;with awillingness to learnand improve their skills andbe a dedicated team playerwitha proventrack record.

• The post holder will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of the Electrical building services installations within the trust in line with current policies and procedures.
• Undertake unsupervised routine maintenance and minor repair work including planned prevented maintenance work and labouring including electrical shutdowns
The post holder will have a full Driving licence ( vehicle group A ).
