Summary
This is a key opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join an established multidisciplinary building services team on the South Coast. You will play a leading role in delivering technically robust electrical engineering solutions across commercial, residential and mission-critical sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical delivery of electrical engineering design on complex, multidisciplinary projects
Develop early-stage strategies, technical concepts and feasibility assessments Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated engineering solutions
Attend and lead client meetings, workshops and design reviews
Oversee workload planning, fee awareness and resource allocation in collaboration with senior management
Provide technical guidance, peer reviews and quality assurance across project outputs
Mentor apprentices, graduates and developing engineers, supporting both technical and commercial growth
What You Need
Strong track record delivering electrical building services across varied and complex projects
Proficiency with modern digital delivery tools (Revit, BIM, Dialux, Relux, Electrical OM)
Experience working closely with clients, design partners, contractors and project managers
Ability to lead design teams, manage technical delivery and support project commercial performance
Clear communication skills, with confidence in client-facing environments Commitment to collaborative working and high-quality engineering outcomes
Salary range:
£43,500 – £56,500 + £4,560 Travel Allowance + bens
