Description

We are seeking an experienced ASW - Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience to join our dynamic Assessment & Safeguarding team. In this vital role, you will contribute to the safety and well-being of individuals and families by carrying out thorough assessments and ensuring that appropriate safeguarding measures are in place. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including service users, families, and community organizations, to develop effective care plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work practice, particularly in safeguarding vulnerable adults and children. Your ability to manage complex cases, demonstrate empathy, and maintain a focus on outcomes for service users is essential. As a key member of the team, you will participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and effectively respond to the evolving needs of those you serve. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks of service users.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for service users.
Regularly review and evaluate care plans to adapt to changing needs or circumstances.
Provide guidance and support to families and individuals in crisis situations.
Facilitate access to resources and services that promote well-being and safety.
Document and manage case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Requirements
A recognized social work qualification and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
Strong knowledge of assessment and safeguarding policies and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse populations.
Proficient in writing detailed reports and case notes.
Experience working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to manage complex cases with sensitivity and professionalism.
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards.

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £23.73
