Technical Coordinator (Hybrid) needed in Waterloo, £15.92ph PAYE - Reference: 5281101
Ideal candidate will be/have-
- Educated to GCSE Standard (or equivalent), including passes in English and Maths.
- Reasonable level of IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and the ability to use bespoke databases and systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, able to handle enquiries in a confident, professional and competent manner.
- Previous administrative experience is desired – producing research, collating reports, making appointments, document management, dealing with enquiries, scanning/photocopying, document filing, arranging meetings and taking minutes.
- A range of administrative duties will be required this will include updating and maintaining the asbestos register and the asset register and reporting back any issues.
- Act as first point of contact for many enquiries made to the department, both by phone and email, to all customers, will focus on gathering facts, responding to requests and seeking wider information.
- Required to manage own time and liaise with other stakeholders (internal and external) as appropriate to maximise outputs, efficiencies and stakeholders’ satisfaction.
- Responsible (along with colleagues in Departments) for the effective updating/upkeep of databases and records.
To assist in the delivery of an efficient, high performing stock condition surveying service, including the maintenance and updating of a stock condition, asbestos, fire safety, energy efficiency and asset databases that accurately reflects the current condition of the Group’s assets.
- Input and manipulate data, maintain the databases and any additional or associated systems. To develop, create and produce reports as instructed and required.
- Provide general administrative support to the Stock Condition Team and wider Property Investment Team as required, including raising and completing purchase orders, organising meetings and taking minutes.
- General administration duties and collation of asbestos samples, results and surveys including logging these on the database.
- Assist in the development, implementation and review of the Stock Condition Team’s policies and procedures for back office tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of future programmes of major repair, programme maintenance or improvement works as required. Assist in monitoring programme delivery against timescales, contractor performance and budget.
- Ensure asset surveyors diaries are populated with appointments in line with the Property Investment Team’s priorities. Furthermore, manage the diaries on a daily basis to guarantee smooth operations.
- Assist the Management Team in the preparation of reports to management and Boards
- Work closely with the Managers to ensure that effective communication with and involvement of our customers is maintained in all aspects of our work, advising on resident involvement and communication issues.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
