Morgan Hunt are working with a large public sector organisation to recruit a senior technical workstream delivery manager, with Workday experience. The role is responsible for establishing and leading the technical workstream of a Workday implementation programme, focusing on three key sub-streams: data, integrations, and a third-party technical readiness project. This role ensures that the organisation is technically prepared for a future SI-led Workday implementation, delivering critical readiness components and leading cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the full lifecycle of the Workday technical workstream, including oversight of data and integration leads.
- Ensure delivery of critical technical elements like environments, integrations, data, and security, aligned with the programme's critical path.
- Develop and manage essential technical artefacts (roadmaps, plans, RAID logs, designs, dependency maps).
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, resolve blockers, and act as senior escalation point for technical delivery.
- Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership (e.g., Programme Director, CTO).
- Ensure adherence to GDPR, security, and audit standards within the technical workstream.
Essential Experience:
- Experience in delivery/project management of large ERP/HCM programmes in Workday
- Experience of mobilising technical workstreams from scratch in ERP programmes
- Strong knowledge and experience in data migration strategy and execution in ERP/HCM environment
- Understanding of Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, middleware)
- Ability to lead several sub-workstreams via senior deputies
Contract until 31/03/26
£700 per day
Hybrid working (London, Glasgow, Cardiff offices)
