SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Cadishead

Pay: Minimum £102 per day
A friendly, inclusive primary school in the Cadishead area is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting children with additional needs and wants to be part of a supportive, pupil-focused environment.
The role
• Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with identified SEN needs
• Helping with routines, communication, emotional regulation and engagement
• Supporting the class teacher with targeted interventions and adapted learning tasks
• Encouraging confidence, independence and positive relationships
• Working closely with the SENCO and wider staff team to implement support plans
What they're looking for
• Experience working with SEN pupils in a primary setting
• Confidence with behaviour strategies and personalised learning
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Level 2 or 3 qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential with strong experience
