Domiciliary Care Manager – Home Care Sector
Location: South Manchester (covering Chorlton, Didsbury, Stretford & Urmston)
Salary: £36,000 – £45,000 per annum + Bonus Scheme

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, award-winning home care provider delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older adults in the South Manchester area. This organisation has an outstanding reputation for providing exceptional care and is now seeking an experienced Care Manager to lead their dedicated team and oversee the continued growth of their service.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Care Manager ready to step into a leadership position within a values-driven, client-focused organisation.
The Role
As Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of care operations, ensuring compliance with CQC standards, and driving service quality and growth. You’ll lead a passionate team, support the delivery of outstanding person-centred care, and maintain the highest professional standards across the service.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership to develop, monitor, and continually improve care delivery, ensuring the organisation remains a trusted and high-quality care provider in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Compliance
Ensure the highest standards of person-centred care and service delivery.
Oversee client assessments, care planning, and risk management processes.
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.
Manage complaints and incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing improvements.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and manage a motivated and high-performing care team.
Provide clear direction, feedback, and professional development support.
Foster a positive, supportive culture focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.
Business Operations & Quality
Lead the day-to-day running of the care service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Drive service growth while maintaining a strong focus on quality and compliance.
Analyse operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement change.
Ensure effective use of resources and deliver against agreed business targets and budgets.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven track record in a care management or senior operational role within the social care sector.
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
Experience leading and motivating teams within a care environment.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Commercially aware with the ability to balance quality care delivery and business objectives.
Confident using IT systems and management software.
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
