Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager | South Manchester | 9.00am – 5.00pm | £27,000-£32,000 D.O.E.
Our client is one of South Manchester's leading care providers.
This role would be perfect for someone who is already working as a Deputy Manager or Care coordinator in a domiciliary setting who is looking to progress in their career.
Your hours will be 9:00 – 5:00 pm, but there is a requirement to support on-call for advice to staff out of hours and to cover care visits if necessary.

Are you the right person for the job?
• Previous experience working as a Deputy manager or Care Coordinator in Domiciliary care (Minimum 1 Year)
• You must have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or be working towards completion of a Level 5.
• Good understanding of CQC regulations and inspections
• Excellent knowledge of delivering a domiciliary care service
• Flexible worker
• A valid UK driving licence
What will your role as a Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager look like?
• Supporting the manager to run the service, including covering in their absence and ensuring standards of care, health and safety and appropriate staffing levels are maintained
• Ensuring that the service safely plans staffing levels in line with the needs and requirements of the service users and complies with legislation and regulatory requirements at all times
• Undertake care/support assessments of service users, participate in reviews, as well as work closely with healthcare professionals, family members and other external parties to develop and maintain the life skills, hopes and aspirations of the service users
• Supporting, supervising and performance managing them whilst leading by example and ensuring you use every opportunity to support your own continuous professional development
