You will work as an integral part of the Neonatal Intensive Care team, working with the nurse in charge of the shift. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities services in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning, stocking equipment, ordering stores, catering, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the sister/charge nurse.
You will be required to work closely with contractors and support service departments. You will monitor quality standards, report deficiencies and appropriate action taken to the nurse in charge.
You will provide support and assistance to nursing staff through the delivery of holistic care for patients.
You will act under direct instruction from the Registered Nurse. (HWB5) This is a non-patient facing housekeeper role within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and are providing an extra 88,000 scans a year.
