Job Overview
-Provide Governance and Commercial overview of spend & suppliers including, Management of delivery against KPI's & SLA's, Recovery of Deductions, Supplier Audits, Contract/Scope Variance Maintenance and Supplier Meetings.
-Working with the Procurement Function on escalation of Supplier challenges and issues with a view to enabling a high performing Supply Chain.
-Provide an overarching governance framework for the supply chain, driving compliance and adherence to agreed frameworks.
Main Duties
-Support Operational Teams in working with Suppliers to ensure contract performance measures are understood and delivered against
-Maintain Schedules of Rates for Suppliers and new onboarded suppliers
-Successfully work between multiple BAU teams (technical/commercial) and connect ServiceDesk and Accounts Payable to resolve payment issues/queries outside of BAU
-Create Supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency
-Handle communications with external suppliers in a professional manner
-Support the Operational Teams in selection of appropriate Suppliers
-Participate in negotiations with Suppliers, along side the Procurement Function
-Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
-Drive Operational performance to ensure the transparency of performance reporting
-Implement new technologies whilst staying alert to trends in the sector
-Awareness of maintenance schedules, keeping an accurate record of and analysing Supplier performance
-Attend governance and business meetings
-Communicate effectively with peers and management to drive priorities
-Demonstrate a high level of performance management to ensure values and targets are met

-Proficient excel skills and systems knowledge (Maximo, Oracle and MS Office)
-Proactive approach to innovation and problem solving
-Confident to lead on difficult conversations with suppliers and the business
-Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritise a changing workload and use initiative
-Ability to organise and prioritise workload
-Sustain enthusiasm, have strong analytical skills and an ability to understand and help solve complex issues
-Excellent communication is essential as well as sound stakeholder management skills at all levels
-Effective negotiation skills
-Must have ability to effectively input in meetings and adapt to a diverse job role
-Elevated level of integrity with a commitment to embedding a strong governance culture
-Able to produce concise and informative reporting under tight deadlines
-A team player but able to work under own initiative and escalate as necessary.
