What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Standards Coordinator, you will work closely with the Lead Standards Developer and Standards Development Manager to ensure the smooth delivery and maintenance of a wide range of standards-related products. You’ll serve as a product expert, supporting the full lifecycle of:
CITB Short Duration Training Standards
National Occupational Standards
Competence-Based Qualifications
Competence Frameworks and Training Pathways
Apprenticeship Standards and Frameworks
Assessment Strategies
You will collaborate with multiple internal and external teams to ensure products and services align with CITB’s strategic goals and industry needs.
Delivery and Performance of standard-related products
Plan and Coordinate the delivery of standard-related products across several teams (internal and external).
Control of department documentation in accordance with ISO guidelines and team requirements.
Coordinate the department’s administrative resource to ensure necessary support is provided to the Standards Developers.
Control, coordinate and record the distribution and completion of work or queries via the Standards team primary communication channels such as Standards inbox, Social Media channels, etc.
Monitor standard-related products as they are developed and launched into industry to ensure they are available, updated and actioned appropriately by industry stakeholders.
Act as a point of contact for the Standards Development Manager and Lead Developers to internal and external teams and individuals where needed.
Using data to inform the delivery of Standards
Analyse data from a variety of sources to help monitor performance and inform reporting.
Make recommendations to help operational delivery based on data and product knowledge.
Share product data across product management and other teams as appropriate.
Managing relationships
Develop and maintain relationships with managers and other colleagues from a variety of teams across CITB.
Engage with customers, partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders outside CITB.
Represent CITB at internal and external meetings related to product delivery and operations.
Continually develop standards-related product understanding
Develop and maintain product knowledge and understanding on an ongoing basis including how Standards align with other CITB products and the wider CITB offering.
Be a subject expert for Standard-related products.
Contribute to decision making around future development of the Standard-related products.

Persuading and influencing skills required internally, with colleagues and externally with suppliers, customers, employers, and others engaged with their products and services.

Your Experience:
Essential
Proven product expertise in standards-related areas (or ability to quickly develop it).
Confident, clear, and persuasive communicator — written, verbal, and face-to-face.
