Job Title: Logistics Administrator/Planner
Location: Coventry
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary – Ongoing
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Administrator/Planner to join our Coventry-based team on a temporary ongoing basis. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and delivery of goods to customers. You will be responsible for managing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily logistics operations through effective communication and use of logistics systems.
Key Responsibilities:•
Planning and Coordination: Arrange resources, materials, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring data accuracy and product availability.
•
Shipment Tracking: Provide live updates on shipment status using specialist tracking and logistics software.
•
Logistics Administration: Complete documentation, data entry, and other administrative tasks related to domestic and international shipments.
•
System Management: Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), and ERP platforms for tracking, reporting, and coordination.
•
Communication: Liaise with internal teams and customers to provide updates, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
•
Process Improvement: Identify and suggest ways to improve logistics processes, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills and Experience:

Logistics and Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of core logistics processes, from planning to delivery.
•
Administrative and Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage tasks, prioritise workloads, and maintain accurate records.
•
Technical Proficiency: Experience using logistics software such as ERP systems, WMS, or TMS.
•
Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
•
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues quickly and implement corrective actions effectively.
•
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data management and shipment tracking.
