Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics Administrator to join our small dynamic team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth flow of orders from processing through to delivery, while maintaining exceptional service levels for both customers and partners. Working closely with our yard team, hauliers, and customers across multiple sites, you will play a key part in coordinating logistics, managing orders, and handling day-to-day enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately process sales orders and input data into internal systems.
• Generate picking documentation from the system and liaise with the yard team to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
• Manage order processing on haulier portals, ensuring compliance with delivery requirements.
• Confirm delivery arrangements with hauliers and communicate delivery schedules with customers.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status, delivery details, and any potential issues.
• Handle incoming calls and respond to customer queries in a professional and solution-focused manner.
• Support the General Manager and team with general administration tasks as required.
• Proactively identify potential challenges within the order and delivery process, escalating where appropriate to minimise disruption.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and digital platforms.
• Strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
Experience & Qualifications (Desirable)
• Previous experience in UK logistics, supply chain, or order processing role.
• Familiarity with haulage options, systems and transport scheduling.
• Experience working in a multi-site or fast-moving environment.
• Experience with using ERP systems such as Netsuite, SAP, MS Dynamics.
• Confident in learning and building upon systems and processes.
