Are you a highly organised and experienced Financial Analyst looking for a challenging new contract role? My client, a leading name in its industry, is seeking a talented analyst to cover a leave of absence at their Daventry site.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain long-term experience, as the role is expected to be extended until April 2027.
The Role: What You'll Be DoingYou'll be responsible for preparing complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports for department management. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Preparing analyses, reports, and special studies for management.
- Working with organisational units to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
- Preparing statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
- Supporting the team in the month-end book closing process.
This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work onsite in Daventry 3 days per week.
What You'll BringTo hit the ground running, you must possess the following:
- At least 3 years of experience in a financial analysis role within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
- A structured approach to work and a proven ability to be a good team player.
- A College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Preferred: Progress toward a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or similar certification.
Compensation-
PAYE Rate: £23.08 per hour
