Class Teacher at St Peter’s C. of E Primary School. Hindley (covering maternity leave)

We are seeking an exceptional Class Teacher to join our team at St Peter’s C. of E. Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils and contribute to the continued success of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils, using effective differentiation strategies
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment, providing regular feedback to pupils
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
• Contribute to the design and provision of an engaging curriculum within the relevant subject area(s)
• Participate in the wider life and ethos of the school, developing effective professional relationships.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
• Proven experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Desirable Qualities:

• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Ability to lead extra-curricular activities or clubs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of a team
