Teaching Assistant Level C

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Working Times for Post: Monday to Friday 8:15am to 3:45pm
Contract Type: Fixed term till 31/08/2026, Term Time only plus 5 inset days

Salary Grade: Payscale 3, points 5 to 6 - £25,583 - £25,989 FTE
(salary will be pro rata to Term Time hours)

Start Date of Post: 4th November 2025


The Governors, Staff and children of St Joseph’s RC Primary School, Reddish wish to recruit a Teaching Assistant - Level 3.

We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of a teaching assistant role
Has high expectations and demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and achieving the best possible outcomes for our children
Has high expectations of the behaviour and attitudes of the children
Will support the Catholic faith of the school
Has a good knowledge of primary curriculum
Self-motivated and able to work cooperatively as part of a team
