Sales Manager | London or Manchester | Hybrid | £65,000–£75,000 + Uncapped Commission & Benefits

At WEX International, we power the future of payments. We’re a global leader providing innovative financial solutions, and we’re looking for a driven Sales Manager to spearhead growth in the EMEA travel vertical.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of business development across Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Travel Management Companies (TMCs), and other travel intermediaries — securing new revenue streams and shaping our market presence.

Must have experience within Card Payment / Travel Payments or a background in the Travel Industry.

What’s in it for you?

• £65,000–£75,000 base salary (depending on experience)
• Uncapped commission – your success = your reward
• 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
• Hybrid working – London Bridge or Manchester office
• Industry-leading pension scheme
• Private medical cover
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays (option to buy more)
• Life assurance & income protection
• Gym Flex membership
• Discounts & perks platform
• Employee wellbeing program

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

• Develop and deliver strategic business development plans to exceed sales targets.
• Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of prospects within the travel sector.
• Lead negotiations and deal closures, ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored payment solutions for travel clients.
• Represent WEX at industry events, building networks and brand visibility.
• Mentor and support the growth of a high-performing sales culture.
• Drive measurable market share growth across EMEA.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven track record of new client acquisition and revenue growth in the travel sector.
• Strong understanding of payments in EMEA, with specialist knowledge of OTAs, TMCs, and intermediaries.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Results-driven, ambitious, and committed to exceeding sales goals.
• Experience in financial services or payments sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus).
• Flexibility to travel extensively across EMEA.
