We are seeking two caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school team starting as soon as possible. These roles involve working closely with pupils who have special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
Duties as SEN Teaching Assistant:
Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
Promote positive behaviour and help pupils develop social and emotional skills.
Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support individual education plans (IEPs).
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN in an educational setting.
A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred) or equivalent experience.
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and to follow individual support plans.
