Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Key Role Details:

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role – full-time, long-term (for the full academic year)
• Immediate start available | Term-time only | Monday to Friday
• Earn up to £600 per week depending on experience
• Work within a highly regarded SEN specialist school in the Wirral
• Support children and young people with needs such as autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges
• Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students engage with learning and meet EHCP targets
• Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals including speech therapists and educational psychologists
• Help pupils build confidence, independence, and key life skills in a supportive setting

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant who is:

• A graduate with a 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care, or a related field
Empathetic, patient, and committed to supporting children with special educational needs
• A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Ideally has some experience working with children or young people (volunteering, tutoring, care work, or mentoring)
• Proactive, resilient, and eager to gain valuable classroom and SEN experience
