Key responsibilities:
To provide students and staff voluntary access to confidential 1:1 time limited counselling.
Deliver wellbeing support delivered directly through counselling, or sign posting to other more appropriate support teams or agencies, referring to the Medical Team or external agencies where necessary.
Attend Welfare Team, Medical Team and RMAS (Royal Military Academy Sandhurst) meetings if requested.
Work collaboratively with the RMAS Workforce Support Group to ensure structured counselling support is in place for service users.
Liaise with Chain of Command when necessary.
Understand military mental health and welfare pathways through primary care to specialist mental healthcare in order to facilitate the provision of support.
Maintain professional qualifications, regular clinical and/or professional supervision and continuing professional development.
Adhere to the highest standards of professional practice, ethical framework, occupational, organisational and local policies.
Maintain professional records and provide statistics as requested.
Provide if required presentations, training on job role or subject matter related topics.
