Class 1 Driver - Ad-Hoc Work (General Haulage)

Location: Accrington
Shift Times: Typically 08:00 - 16:00 (may vary)
Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour (weekly pay)

We are looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to cover ad-hoc general haulage shifts in the Accrington area. This is ideal for drivers seeking flexible work with competitive pay and straightforward runs.

The Role:

  • Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on general haulage runs.

  • Work may include depot-to-depot, trunking, or palletised deliveries.

  • No handball - clean and simple work.

  • Completing vehicle checks and paperwork accurately.

  • Covering shifts as required (covering holidays, sickness, or busy peaks).

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.

  • Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

  • Minimum 1 year's Class 1 experience.

  • Reliable, professional, and flexible with availability.
