Summary
Class 1 HGV Day Driver - £15.50 per hour - Darwen (Ad-hoc Work)
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Day Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover for our client in Darwen. This is a flexible role, ideal for drivers looking to pick up additional shifts or those preferring non-permanent work.
Location: Darwen
Working Hours: Ad-hoc day shifts (typical start times between 06:00 - 08:00)
Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour
Type of Work: Pallet network and general haulage

Driving Class 1 vehicles on daytime trunk runs and deliveries across the UK

Working on pallet network and general haulage contracts

Securing loads safely and delivering to set timescales

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring paperwork is completed correctly

Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience

Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice
