Summary

Class 1 HGV Night Driver - £17.50 per hour - Accrington (Ad-hoc Work)

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover for our client in Accrington. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who enjoy night work and want flexible, non-permanent shifts at a competitive rate.

Location: Accrington
Working Hours: Ad-hoc night shifts (typical evening start times)
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
Type of Work: General haulage

The Role

  • Driving Class 1 vehicles on night trunk runs and deliveries across the UK

  • Handling general haulage work, securing loads safely, and meeting delivery schedules

  • Completing daily vehicle checks and keeping all paperwork accurate and compliant

  • Representing both the agency and client in a professional manner at all times

Requirements

  • Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

  • Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience

  • Flexibility to cover ad-hoc shifts at short notice

  • Professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach
