We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school team on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work across classes to support teaching and learning, helping every child to achieve their best.
Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
Provide in-class support for individuals, small groups and whole-class activities.
Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated learning tasks.
Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN or EAL, where required.
Help prepare resources and maintain a positive, well-organised learning environment.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, clubs and special events.
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) desirable.
Previous experience supporting children in a primary or secondary setting is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A patient, flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning as Teaching Assistant.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
