Summary
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to children’s learning and development in Key Stage 2. Beginning October 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning across the curriculum.
Assist with classroom preparation, organisation and general administration.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to become confident, independent learners.
Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Experience working with children in a school setting.
A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
Ability to follow teacher guidance and use initiative when required.
A relevant qualification (Level 2/3 TA) is advantageous but not essential.
