There has never been a better time to join Lostock High School. Our ‘Good’ Ofsted rating recognises our determination that Lostock High will continue to develop as a popular school of choice for our community.

We seek a dynamic, highly effective teacher and leader, with a passion for improving the outcomes of all young people, to join our restructured Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will have a clear vision of the development of inclusion and how to achieve it

You will join a dynamic team with a singular vision: to improve education for all. We pride ourselves on engaging pupils, making learning exciting and rewarding, and on our tenacity. You will help to lead a strong team of individuals who are committed to improving life chances for young people, and who believe in preparing pupils for life.

We want all of our students to achieve their potential, and we make sure that there are no limitations or barriers to reaching the highest possible standards of academic, social and personal development.

We have a hugely talented and committed staff team who make sure that our curriculum, guidance, care and support meets the different needs of every young person, and we pride ourselves on having high expectations. Our students are well organised, supportive of each other and keen to do well.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding qualified and experienced SENDCO who is keen to move to the next stage of their career. The successful candidate will be one who has demonstrated capacity for leadership in their current role. We need an inspiring teacher and an imaginative leader who can nurture colleagues to exceed their own expectations.

We are totally dedicated to providing the very best opportunities for our students to ensure that we inspire confidence, transform learning and succeed to compete with the best. If you think Lostock High School is the right school for you, please visit our website to download an application form or contact us via recruitment@lostock.trafford.sch.uk
