Class 1 HGV Night Drivers - £17.00-17.50 per hour - Altham (Ad-hoc Work)

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover a client in Altham. This is a flexible role, ideal for drivers looking to pick up additional shifts or those preferring non-permanent work.

Location: Altham
Working Hours: Ad-hoc night shifts
Pay Rate: £17.00-17.50 per hour
Type of Work: Pallet network and general haulage

The Role

  • Driving Class 1 vehicles on night trunk runs and Hub runs.

  • Working on pallet network and general haulage contracts

  • Securing loads safely and delivering to set timescales

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring paperwork is completed correctly

Requirements

  • Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

  • Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience

  • Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice

  • Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach

What We Offer
