Summary
Class 1 HGV Day Driver - £16.00 per hour - Clitheroe (Ad-hoc Work)
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Day Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover for our client in Clitheroe. This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible daytime shifts at a competitive hourly rate.
Location: Clitheroe
Working Hours: Ad-hoc daytime shifts (start times typically between 06:00-08:00)
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Type of Work: General haulage

Driving Class 1 vehicles on daytime deliveries and collections across the UK

Handling general haulage work, securing loads safely, and meeting delivery schedules

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring paperwork is completed correctly

Representing both the agency and client in a professional and reliable manner

Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience

Flexibility to cover ad-hoc shifts at short notice
