Your Role as a Graduate Academic MentorAs a Graduate Academic Mentor, you will play a key part in supporting students across a range of year groups and subjects. Responsibilities include:

Providing 1:1 and small group academic support, particularly in core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science

Assisting in the classroom to help students stay engaged and make progress

Supporting students with exam preparation, homework, and revision strategies

Working with teaching staff to identify students who would benefit from additional support
-
Helping to monitor student progress and adapt support accordingly

Encouraging positive attitudes to learning, confidence, and academic resilience
Are You a Good Fit?This role is ideal for someone who:

Holds a recent degree (2:1 or above), ideally in English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Education, or a related field

Has strong communication skills and a proactive, supportive approach

Is interested in a future career in teaching, mentoring, or education leadership

Enjoys working with young people and making a positive impact

Has previous experience working with children or teenagers (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or volunteering)
