Description
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sheltered Scheme Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our sheltered housing schemes. As the Sheltered Scheme Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting residents aged 55 and over, ensuring they live comfortably and enjoy a high quality of life in their community. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, providing leadership to staff, and developing support plans tailored to the needs of individual residents. This role involves fostering a safe and welcoming environment where residents can thrive socially, emotionally, and physically. You will work closely with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to ensure that residents have access to necessary services and support. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building relationships with residents and their families. You will also need to demonstrate excellent organizational and managerial abilities to handle administrative tasks and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the sheltered housing schemes
Lead, supervise, and support the team of care staff and volunteers
Develop and implement support plans tailored to individual resident needs
Foster a welcoming and inclusive community atmosphere for residents
Coordinate with external organizations and local authorities to secure resident services
Monitor and manage the budget to ensure financial sustainability
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies
Organize social activities and events to promote resident engagement and well-being
Requirements
Proven experience in managing sheltered housing or similar care settings
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in care provision
Ability to develop and implement support plans for residents
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Compassionate approach with a commitment to resident-centered care
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Day: £160.96
