Start Date: September 2025
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm
£500 – £570 per week

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons


  • Work with students 1:1 and in small groups to reinforce learning


  • Assist with lesson planning, resources, and general classroom organisation


  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff


  • Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth


  • Gain practical school-based experience ahead of a PGCE or teacher training pathway


    What We’re Looking For

    To be successful in this role, you should have:

    • A 2:1 degree (or above) in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Psychology, or a related subject


    • A strong academic background including A-Levels and GCSEs


    • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills


    • A proactive, flexible approach to supporting students in a classroom environment


    • Experience working with children or young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is advantageous but not essential
