Crynodeb
This post will support the department plan and devise a compliance and training strategy to maintain patient, staff and public safety. The post will support clinical security liaison nurses deliver clinical security input direct to teams and services. The post will also support the relevant security managers with compliance monitoring and recording of non-clinical activity, such as physical security requirements and security systems. The post holder will preferably have experience of working in a forensic healthcare setting but must have experience of secure environments to ensure that the highest quality of service is delivered with the maintenance of national standards, as identified in the High Secure Psychiatric Directions (2019) and Guidance. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
