Crynodeb
You will be required to lead on many of the functions which support and enable the ITBs (Infantry Training Battalions) to deliver the Combat Infantryman’s Course such as continuous improvement, and assurance. You will work with but separate to the Battalion Second-in-Command and Adjutant providing long term continuity and direction for these ‘support’ and ‘enable’ functions.
Key responsibilities:
Provide general support and advice to the Commanding Officer as a member of the senior management team
You will be the Nominated Officer for internal and external assurance for the ITC
Acting as the Ofsted Nominee along with the Commanding Officer
To produce the Self Assessment Review and the Defence Care and Welfare Framework for the ITC on an Annual basis
Owner of the ITC Quality Improvement Action Plan (QIAP).
Acting as secretary in quarterly meetings
Support HQ Soldier Academy with the production of the centralised Supervisory Care Directive (SCD) including the Annex for the ITC
Production of the ITC Training Quality Manual
Point of Contact for all ITC HQ Battalion business cases
Coordination of visits to the ITC
Focal point for all Civil Service matters for Line Managers and staff in HQ Bn ITC
Secretary to the Independent Advisory Panel
Coordinate quarterly IAP (Independent Advisory Panel) visits to ITC including out of normal working hours
