Job Title: Mechanical Crane Engineer

Location: Deeside, Cheshire

Type: Full time, Permanent

Monday to Friday - DAYS ONLY

Hours: 8am-4pm

Salary: £36,500 per year + bonuses

My client, a multi-national manufacturer, is seeking a Mechanical Crane Engineer for their Deeside site. They operate in over 20 countries worldwide where they value teamwork and innovative approaches. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of machinery, contributing to projects and being involved in performing maintenance and reactive tasks.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing reactive and preventative maintenance on cranes site wide, and also involved in maintenance around site.
  • Mechanical work
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects
  • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments
  • Assist with different departments such as design, H&S etc.



Requirements:

  • Previous experience within mechanical maintenance or fitting
  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering - Desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and assist different departments
